In 2019 the venue was awarded a 1 AA Rosette and has since gone on to gain more acclaim.

On the menu diners will find dishes including French onion soup with a Gruyere puff pastry top; devilled whitebait with black pepper baby squid and tartare sauce; chicken liver parfait with apricots, ginger, hazelnuts and toasted sourdough to begin.

Mains have included venison ragu with pappardelle pasta and parmesan cheese; butternut squash and sage agnolotti with roast chestnuts, caramelised Roscoff onions and shallot vinaigrette; and pan-fried seabass with new potatoes, chorizo, spinach and lemon dressing.

Puddings have included the classics such as sticky toffee pudding, brownie and crumble.
