Co-owned by three hospitality fanatics, this gastropub is truly deserving of its great achievements and we hope to see it rise through the ranks of the Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs list in the coming years.

Head chef and co-owner Steven Lawford is a maverick in the kitchen and a true perfectionist as well as a master of flavour.

His skills know no limits, with his menus proving diners can expect a treat when visiting the venue for a long and lazy dinner or even a quick lunch.

The kitchen takes advantage of the greatest ingredients from around, as well as from a little further afield.

Menu highlights have included dressed Whitby crab sandwich with fennel slaw, brown crab mayonnaise, home grown bronze fennel and sancerre silex; halibut and lobster with lobster ravioli and bisque; and almond cake with poached pear Williams, almond praline and crème Anglaise.
