The High Field

Edgbaston, Birmingham

Serving quality fresh food in the restaurant and a range of drinks in the bar

Part of the acclaimed Peach Pubs group, the High Field is a smart, modern venue with a spacious garden in swish Edgbaston Village.

The company has won awards for its sustainable approach to its food, which is served all day here from breakfast through to dinner. It works closely with British farmers and butchers to bring fresh, seasonal food to the plate, from the earliest asparagus in the spring to game in the autumn, and from native Devon lobster to farmhouse cheeses.

There’s something for everyone and you’ll always know where the ingredients come from.

Alongside dishes that change with the seasons and might include miso-glazed sea bream and partridge saltimbocca, there are steaks on the grill, from grass-fed cattle via butcher to the royals Aubrey Allen.

The High Field also offers a good choice of plant-based dishes from a mushroom and baby spinach risotto with almond butter to a cauliflower and sweet potato curry to a dirty vegan burger dressed with marmite onions and smoked cheese.
