Named the Observer’s Young Chef of the Year in 2016, Daniel and wife Natasha bought the Fordwich Arms in 2017, which was awarded a Michelin star within a year.

Named the Observer’s Young Chef of the Year in 2016, Daniel and wife Natasha bought the Fordwich Arms in 2017, which was awarded a Michelin star within a year. The couple went onto take on the Bridge Arms in the village in 2021, which also won a Michelin star the following year.

Daniel’s impressive experience includes having spent five years working at The Clove Club in Shoreditch where he was an integral part of the team that earned the restaurant its first Michelin star.

The chef director’s skill has been central to the gastropubs’ success and as part of this, the Fordwich has jumped up the Top 50 list over the years, starting at number 42 in 2019.
