Estrella Damm’s Sustainable Pub of the Year

The Loch & the Tyne marries sustainability and luxury perfectly. The Adam Handling Group-owned pub highlights the best of British produce with a focus on hyper-local sourcing. Seasonal vegetables, flowers and herbs are all grown on site in the Old Windsor pub’s garden, meaning food miles for these ingredients are zero. Food waste is also low thanks to an ethos of using every part of produce while fruit and veg offcuts are used to produce purees and fermented ingredients.

When it comes to drinks, the Loch & the Tyne follow the group’s reputation for using waste products from the kitchen and homegrown ingredients from the garden to create cocktails alongside offering a wide variety of local beers and ciders.

Sustainability is a the core of everything at pub does and the team are fully immersed in the green ethos, explaining the provenance of produce when presenting dishes and drinks.
