+ Great British Menu judge
After two years of learning everything in the kitchen, Emily looked to her next challenge where in 2002, she moved to the Fat Duck in Bray to work for Heston Blumenthal.
Following this, she began to develop her own style while working as a private chef in London.
Chef patron of the award-winning Kingham Plough Emily appeared as a judge on BBC2’s Great British Menu in 2015.
Emily and her husband opened the pub in 2007 with a vision to create a dining pub in the Cotswolds that they themselves would like to visit, with excellent modern British food and comfortable rooms set within a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
Since opening, Emily has featured on The Hairy Bikers, Tom Kerridge’s Proper Pub Food and won Great British Menu with her fish dish in 2014.
A huge honour for the chef was to cook for war veterans at St Paul’s Cathedral in a banquet commemorating the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
