The Greyhound in Beaconsfield was named One to Watch at this year’s awards and deservedly so. The pub opened in 2019 and had only traded for a matter of months, due to the coronavirus crisis.
A grade two-listed, seventeenth century, former coaching inn, the Greyhound is owned by husband and wife team Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, who have worked at prestigious venues including a former Top 50 listee – the Oxford Blue in Old Windsor.
Modern British food, complemented by a diverse wine list, alongside local beers and ales is all on offer at the Greyhound.
Dishes such as Chalk Stream trout with celery root and caviar, and foie gras with sourdough and Yorkshire rhubarb celebrate the finest ingredients and produce.
A worthy winner to be hailed the One to Watch in 2021.
