Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs list for 2024 announced

Celebrating excellence in the hospitality industry for the fifteenth year, we are ecstatic to bring you a new Top 50 Gastropubs list for 2024

By Charli Tomney | 05/12/2023

The list is created by collecting votes from more than 200 professionals who are key people in the industry, from food critics and writers to chefs and pub operators. The voters are spread evenly across the UK to avoid any regional bias and to help us discover even more fantastic hidden gems.

The annual list reveal is an opportunity to highlight and celebrate the talent within the industry alongside a handful of awards announced on the night. In the run up to the event there is also a 51-100 reveal on our Instagram (@top50gastropubs) from Monday 8 January 2024.

The full list will be announced at a ceremony at the current number one The Parkers Arms nestled in the Forest of Bowland on Monday 22 January 2024 and revealed on Instagram throughout the day. Chef of the Year, Highest New Entry, Highest Climber and brand-new award Estrella Damm’s Sustainable Pub of the Year will also be revealed on the night as well as the highly anticipated One to Watch.

The Parkers Arms owner, Stosie Madi, said about her victory “I was not expecting it, it was the most unexpected thing. Not because I don’t think we deserve it but because being in the Top 50 list is already a huge win.

“Over the years, most of our wonderful achievements have been because the Top 50 have always taken note of us. I feel truly honoured and beyond happy to be number one of the list.”
