Established in 1740, The Beckford Arms is a stunning, traditional country inn located on the edge of the parkland of the Fonthill estate in Wiltshire – just under two hours from London and 20 minutes from Salisbury.
The pub is situated in the centre of what was William Beckford’s huge Wiltshire estate.
The pub has an oak stool lined bar that is stocked with local ales, a restaurant serving seasonal food, a terrace with wood-fired pizza oven for the summer months, a library for gatherings and a sitting room with roaring fires.
There are also eight bedrooms, two luxurious lodges and a unique place to stay at The Arch on the estate.
The pub is part of the Beckford Group. The Beckford Arms was the first venue within the portfolio that also now boasts three further pubs including The Talbot Inn, Mells; Lord Poullet Arms, Hinton Saint George; and The Bath Arms in Horningsham.
