Cotswold gents Peter Creed and Tom Noest brought the Bell back to life in 2017, imbuing the pub with a warm welcome and hearty, classic dishes.
Critics including Giles Coren, Tom Parker Bowles and Marina O’Loghlin have lauded the pub, with Coren saying: “Best mouthful of the year, best mouthful of my life more like.”
The gastropub sits in the middle of the Cotswolds, which makes it an ideal venue to take advantage of various sports.
Relationships with local estates and land owners allows the pub to offer guests some exceptional experiences.
Activities including deer stalking, coarse fishing, driven game birds, pigeon shooting or clay pigeon shooting are all available.
As well as shooting activities, the pub has a range of modern rooms available at reasonable prices.
But, on to the food. There are several menus to choose from, including a la carte menus and Sunday menus.
Dishes on the a la care may include French onion soup for starters, or deviled kidneys on toast. Mains could be anything from fish and chips to roasted romanesco broccoli with burrata, oregano and chilli.
There’s a seperate pudding menu, which offers classics such as sticky toffee pudding, rice pudding and custard tart.
