Located in Devon's South Hams, the Bull Inn makes the most of being surrounded by some of the best organic food producers in the UK.
After 12 months of eco logically-driven renovations, the pub opened its doors in December 2019 with nine beautiful bedrooms, a self-catered apartment across the road and a 'truly supplier-led, organic restaurant'.
2024 saw the pub take the Sustainability Award at the National Restaurant Awards with judges praising its 'No-Bull Rules to Dine, Trade and Work By' mantra that governs dining, trading and working.
The set of policies are designed to be robust, rigorous and easily understood, are publicly communicated and help ensure each decision is considered in light of its impact on the Bull's team, suppliers and community.
The ingredients-led dishes on the daily-changing menu are cooked from scratch, honestly sourced from likeminded suppliers.
Guests can enjoy food all day at the Bull with breakfast available from 8am until 10.30am before lunch starts at 12pm until 3pm and supper served from 6pm to 9pm.
Drinks are also local, organic and sustainably sourced such as draught beer from local business Stroud Organic Brewery while coffee grounds are used to make liqueurs and whole citrus fruits are utilised in the delicious Margaritas.
