The Kerfield Arms

Camberwell, London

From the team behind the Baring comes the relaxed but slickly run gastropub the Kerfield Arms.

After reopening in April 2025 following several months of refurbishment, the 'younger but bigger brother' to the Baring, is run by Adam Symonds and Rob Tecwyn with the kitchen led by former head chef at the Baring Jay Styler.

Located on Grove Lane, the Kerfield Arms is home to a large bar area, accommodating drinkers and walk-in diners alongside a dining room available

The Camberwell gastropub's menu aims to 'continue the team's ethos of simple yet considered cooking promoting humble ingredients and seasonal produce across a line-up of brand-new dishes'.

The pub also offers midweek lunch specials where dishes with a glass of wine or pint can be enjoyed for under £20.

Dishes have included lamb ragu and parmesan polenta and steak frites, priced at £12 or £15 with a drink.

On the subject of drinks, why not quench your thirst with a clementine & clove old fashioned before tucking into tempura sardine with hen of the woods, kohlrabi and dashi to start?

You could follow up with a main of roast Yorkshire partridge with haggis, purple hispi and walnut ketchup while finishing off this mouth-watering meal with a quince and bay leaf custard doughnut.
