Jason King

Biography

Australian-born chef Jason King co-owns the Wellington Arms with business partner Simon Page, where he offers up a menu steeped in traditional cooking and agriculture.

He grows much of the produce that ends up on the pub’s menu in the pub’s own grounds and sources meat and fish from reliable local suppliers.

No stranger to the Top 50 Gastropubs list, he was awarded the title of Gastropub Chef of the Year in the 2012 edition of the awards.
